The renovation of an original early-1900's caretaker's cottage into a guest house contributes to the overall improvements (including an art studio and winery piazza) of a 10.5-acre historic estate. The reallocation of rooms and the addition of new finishes, bathrooms, kitchen and geo-thermal heating and cooling system modernize the interior space while maintaining the existing terra cotta structural walls. The restoration of the building's exterior follows the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
